Submitting a Manuscript (optional)

There is no requirement to submit a full conference manuscript, but read on if you would like to find out more.

ILAS 2015 sees the involvement of SPIE in the publication of ILAS Proceedings for the first time. If you wish to add a full symposium manuscript to your abstract see here for further information. Papers presented at the symposium and submitted for publication in the Proceedings are peer reviewed and therefore count as academic output. The advantages of your paper being included in the Proceedings include enhanced visibility for you and your organisation through the many dissemination channels that SPIE links into.

Manuscripts submitted to the symposium Proceedings will be refereed*. If and when approved they will be included in ILAS 2015 Proceedings, published by SPIE.

A user name and password access to the full ILAS Proceedings on the SPIE Digital Library will be provided to all delegates at ILAS 2015 as soon as the Proceedings are ready, approximately two months after the event.

*The session chair at which the presentation was delivered must approve manuscripts for the ILAS 2015 Proceedings. This will be done after the deadline date for completion of papers, which is 25 March – 1 week after ILAS.

There are two prizes available to those who submit manuscripts, the AILU Student Prize and the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP) Award. See here for more details.
